Uncertainty, fear, trade wars, and a giant shadow over the future. What to do?

You want to freeze, literally everything. You want to fight, literally anyone. You want to flee, anywhere, but there's no where to go.
But that's not now we purposefully rise.
Here's what I've learned from working for and with business and organizations from solopreneurs to billion dollar tech companies for over two decades:
1. People are your most important resource. You can be fiscally responsible and at the same time invest in your people. Let them know you care and are willing to spend money and time on their growth both personally and professionally.
2. Sales and Marketing is now needed more than ever. Resist the temptation to retreat and become unknown. Invest in your sales and marketing teams. Give them tools to rise above your competition. Other companies might retreat, so now is your chance to pull ahead.
3. Create a space for well-being. Invest in benefits, workshops, and resources so that your people (and you!) can navigate the storm with a clear mind and a healthy body.
It doesn't have to be me (wink wink), but find someone to come in and help you and your organization. Give them the tools to work together and rise with purpose.
This uncertainty will not last forever, so now is the time to position yourself and your company as a leader. Your story at the end of this can be an inspiration to others.
We need more more good leaders. We need more of you.
Let's rise together.
