Hi! I'm David.
David Fisher is a Vancouver keynote speaker and executive communication coach, and the founder of Kingfisher Communications and A Culture of Us™.
I help organizations build a culture where people feel seen, heard, and empowered. One that fuels performance, strengthens leadership, and keeps people engaged long after the event ends. I've worked with teams at Cirque du Soleil, Wealthsimple, and Fraser Health, using storytelling, improv, and practical communication tools your people can use.
How I work: Before your event, I take the time to understand your organization: your challenges, your goals, your pressures. On the day, you get something built for your people, not a canned talk. Afterward, I include a complimentary group coaching session so your team can apply what they learned.
My story: I was struggling with depression, near homelessness, and deep self-doubt when I realized that no one was going to rescue me. I needed to change me.Through research, mentors, and experience, I learned that the keys to getting through hard things are mental wellness, vulnerability, and connection. When I connected deeply with my true self and with other people, I found I could rise above any obstacle.
Today, as a keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, and communication coach, I help teams work with passion, communicate with clarity, and lead with intention. That's A Culture of Us™.
I'm also a trained actor, which is why my sessions can be interactive and fun, and always entertaining!
